We had a lovely couple of nights at White Cottage, a unique and quirky hotel close to Tenterden. Ruth, the owner, was kind and welcoming, even allowing our dogs to stay. The hotel may not have modern decor, but it was clean and had all the facilities we needed. The story of Ruth's renovations and her love for wildlife added to the charm. A great base for exploring Kent and Sussex.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

White Cottages is a quirky and unique place with a lot of personality. Ruth, the landlady, is kind and thoughtful, allowing dogs to stay even though she is now not pet friendly. the house, although not decorated to modern standards, is clean and the facilities meet our needs. We enjoyed seeing the story of Ruth's renovations and the wildlife and animals she has nurtured. the breakfast provided was excellent, better than in most hotels. The bed was also very comfortable. Cons: Nothing 🙌.

We recently stayed at a B&B in a beautiful part of Kent. the hosts were friendly and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. the location was convenient, with parking available nearby. the room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. the breakfast provided was basic but satisfying. it was a great base for exploring the surrounding area and we would recommend it to others.
The furnishings and decor were a bit outdated and could use some updating.

Great Location, Helpful Owner and Decent Breakfast
During my business trip, I found the hotel to be conveniently located near my meeting places and public transport. The owner was friendly and offered useful tips about the local area. , the breakfast served was decent with enough options to choose from.
The bed was uncomfortable and made noise every time I moved, making it difficult for me to have a good night's sleep. the location near the main road made it noisy, which was irritating.

Finding accommodation in the area was a challenge, but coming across this hotel was a stroke of luck. The location was so convenient for my destination and at a very good price, I thought it was worth a try. The owner, who I must say is the loveliest lady ever, made sure that my stay was spot on. The rooms had its own bathroom, which was nice and light and clean, and everything I needed was provided.
All was ok, but I did notice some noise coming from outside.

Good breakfast and comfortable beds in a convenient location. the hotel is located near a main road, which can be noisy but also makes it easy to access nearby attractions. the breakfast was a highlight, with a variety of options to choose from. the beds were comfortable and made for a good night's sleep.
The hotel is old, dated, and in need of a renovation. the musty smell was overpowering, and the furniture was well past its prime.
